While this bed is from an era that easily classifies it as vintage or antique, it appears  there has been some alteration to its original construction. It is missing the  bolts that attach the headboard and footboard to the side rails. This bed  requires a non-standard size mattress; 71” long by 54” wide. The mattress is supported by 10 wood slats which are not included with the bed. There are some  dings and minor cracks in the wood, but overall is in good to fair condition. The  headboard is 47” high. The footboard is 42” high. Total frame size is 78 ½”  long, 54” wide. I’ve included plenty of photos to view.
