This beautiful owl shaped container from 20th century Burma has the most
vibrant colors we’ve seen from those on the market, and is hand-painted. Stands
9.25in (23.5cm) tall and 7.25in (18.5cm) wide, large for this style of item.
Crafted of bent and carved wood, likely bamboo, and covered in black lacquer
and painted. There’s is some slight chipping of the lacquer, particularly where
the top meets the body (no chips on top). Please inspect pictures closely
before purchase. Makes a wonderful functional or display item, and is a lovely
piece of Burmese history.
