This is an exceptional Japanese cloisonne enamel incense burner or koro. The
body is worked with a majestic bonsai style pine tree on a rock formation. The
layered branches overlook a sea or body of water by a wireless (musen) mountain
formation and boat.
The base is inset with a silver panel with the artist’s trademark, “Yoshihisa”
for the recognized artist, Hattori Yoshihisa.
The incense burner appears to be in mint, unused condition without any major
issues such as cracks, losses or restoration. Please refer to the images that
depict the wonderful pristine condition.
The height of the incense burner with the top is approximately 3.75 inches
The width of the incense burner is approximately 4.25 inches
