This is a hand engraved Burmese lacquerware wall hanging/picture.  It measures 18.25 x 12.25 x .50 inches, and depicts two ladies paying respect to the gods of the water, November Loy Krathong (floating of the respectful gifts to the gods) Festival. I have partnered with an American friend living in Thailand to make this and other collectible vintage and antique pieces available.  He has spent most of his adult life living and working in Nepal and Thailand, and has amassed an incredible collection of these and other hand made antique wares over the last 40 years.  None of his relatives have any interest in the items, so he has asked me to help find them new homes with those who will appreciate their beauty, artistic value, and intricate workmanship.  Any white or pale areas on the picture are light reflections.
