This early dynasty tin tea caddy shows the skilled craftsmanship required to
make the intricate design which surrounds the tea canister.
Fashioned in a raised relief design, the entire sides show numerous scenes
featuring a geisha girl, man , cranes, scorpions, and shows the various
important aspects to the Chinese way of life.
Measures 7-1/2'' tall by 4-3/8'' wide on 4 -1/2'' base.
The tight fitting top is removable.
There is an area on the side where the seam is exposed but still intact, as
well as several dents along the top of lid noted.
In good, original condition.
