CONDITION REPORT: Each of the 7 sections, base, cap and 5 shelving cases are in nice antique condition with no splits, cracks, chips, missing parts, loose joints or repairs. It appears all the finish is original. All pieces has labels except for the crown top. All the glass is original.

ITEMS DETAILS/DESCRIPTION:  Item offered is a 7 piece, 5 stack Globe Wernicke Oak Sectional Bookcase. It has the aged metal straps with areas of exposed copper. The 5 cases all have labels the read Globe-Wernicke, Sectional Bookcase, Standard C-11, pattern 111, grade 198. The crown does not have a label and the base label is the same label era with numbers pattern 135, grade 198. It has all original parts with no missing parts. The doors operate nice with no issues. There are some oak wood coloration variation on the ends and each section can be a lighter or darker color on one end and slightly different on the other side end. The fronts of each section all appears to be the same color. These came from an old locked up law office in my small town and sat with the sides touching each other or exposed to light on just one end which may account for the slight color differences on the side panels of each bookcase section or sections may have been added at different times as more book space was needed. The insides of the cases are also in good condition. There is no buckling of the inside wood and the outside of the case is solid oak.
