1800's Antique BURMESE Hammered REPOUSSE SILVER Burma BETEL NUT Box Canister
Not a modern reproduction, this is an ORIGINAL ANTIQUE betel nut box or canister, dating to the mid 19th Century.
Unmarked, as best I can tell, but certainly worthy of further research.
Measures 3 1/4" in diameter and 3 1/4" tall.
Wonderfully detailed, and sold just as-found, uncleaned and unpolished, with original warm patina. Displays beautifully, with no repairs. Minor cracks to silver lid, as shown.
Guaranteed to be antique, and not a modern reproduction.
